Skyroot Aerospace Raises $60 Million, Becomes India's First Spacetech Unicorn

Skyroot Aerospace raised $60 million in a round co-led by Ram Shriram's Sherpalo Ventures and Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC, reaching a pre-money valuation of $1.1 billion and becoming India's first spacetech unicorn. The advanced hardware and technology sector raised the highest amount of funding in India this week across four deals totaling $73.4 million. Skyroot is the third Indian unicorn of 2026, after KreditBee and Juspay.
