A federal judge approved the appointment of Dirk Bergemann and CJ Saretto to the Technical Committee tasked with designing remedies for Google's illegal search monopoly. The Committee will oversee Google sharing its search index and user data with qualified competitors, while screening potential competitors to prevent data leaks. The DOJ must notify Google 45 days before any competitor can begin data-sharing. Google's US search market share has already dropped from 89.4% to 84.1%.
