Anthropic's Claude Platform on AWS is now generally available, giving AWS customers full native Claude API features — including Managed Agents, skills, code execution, web search, and MCP connector — with AWS billing and IAM authentication. The platform offers day-one feature parity with the direct Anthropic API, unlike Amazon Bedrock which lags on agent-platform features. Claude Opus 4.7, Sonnet 4.6, and Haiku 4.5 are available. This creates a three-way market: direct API, Platform on AWS (full features, AWS billing), and Bedrock (subset features, AWS-managed).
