GitHub Copilot Restructures Individual Plans with Flex Allotments and New Max Tier

GitHub is restructuring its individual Copilot plans ahead of its June 1 usage-based billing transition. Pro ($10/mo) now includes $15 total usage via a $5 flex allotment; Pro+ ($39/mo) includes $70 total via a $31 flex allotment; and a new Max plan ($100/mo) offers $200 total included usage. Base credits are 1:1 with subscription price and never change; flex allotments are variable and will adapt as AI model economics evolve. Code completions and Next Edit Suggestions remain unlimited on paid plans. All other features (chat, agent mode, code review) now bill by the token at $0.01 per AI Credit.
