Berlin-based workflow automation startup n8n more than doubled its valuation to $5.2 billion after a strategic investment from SAP, which also signed a multi-year commercial agreement to embed n8n natively within Joule Studio, SAP's agent-building environment. n8n provides a visual workflow automation canvas supporting no-code, low-code, and pro-code developers with over 1,000 integrations. SAP CEO Christian Klein emphasized that agentic AI must be grounded in process knowledge and enterprise governance. General availability is planned for Q3 2026. The deal represents a homegrown European AI partnership between a DAX 40 software leader and a fast-growing scale-up.
