Forus (formerly Tandem), a New York-based health tech company, raised over $160 million from Thrive Capital, General Catalyst, Accel, Bain Capital Ventures, Redpoint, BoxGroup, and Pear VC. The company's AI-powered platform automates the steps between a doctor's clinical decision and a patient actually starting treatment, including insurance authorization, financial assistance, and fulfillment routing. The platform is embedded in physician workflows, supports every drug, payer, and pharmacy in the US, and is free for both doctors and patients. Provider adoption has grown 10x year-over-year for two years, driven entirely by word of mouth. Five of the top 10 global biopharma companies use Forus's prescription flow data.
