Anthropic, Blackstone, and Hellman & Friedman each invested approximately $300 million as anchor partners in a new standalone AI services firm, with Goldman Sachs contributing $150 million as a founding investor. Additional backers include General Atlantic, Leonard Green, Apollo Global Management, GIC, and Sequoia Capital. The entity will embed Anthropic engineers inside private equity portfolio companies to deploy Claude AI across healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, and retail. The deal was announced within minutes of OpenAI's $10B JV, confirming a race between frontier AI labs to lock up enterprise distribution. Anthropic's annualized revenue is approaching $19 billion.
