Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Says Company Has 'Zero Percent' Market Share in China, Calls US Export Policy 'Largely Backfired'

Bernstein analysts estimate Nvidia's China AI GPU share will fall from 66% in 2024 to approximately 8% in coming years, as domestic vendors like Huawei Ascend cover up to 80% of Chinese demand. Nvidia recognized $4.5 billion in charges tied to export restrictions in Q1 FY2026. China previously represented 20–25% of Nvidia's data center revenue. Huang added that in all Nvidia forecasts, 'we're assuming 0% for China.'
