Instructure disclosed a cyberattack on April 30 affecting Canvas, one of the world's most widely used learning management systems. The ShinyHunters extortion group claims to have stolen 3.65TB of data covering 275 million users across approximately 9,000 schools globally, including names, email addresses, student ID numbers, and private messages between students and teachers.
