BMW i Ventures launched its third fund at $300M, bringing total capital under management to $1.1B. The fund will invest from Seed through Series B in North America and Europe, with investment themes including agentic AI, physical AI (robotics/autonomous systems), industrial software, advanced materials, and manufacturing technology. BMW i Ventures has made 90+ investments over 15 years with 30+ exits, including GaN Systems acquired by Infineon for $830M. The fund has already quietly backed five unnamed AI startups through Fund II.
