Yale's Chief Executive Leadership Institute (CELI) published a governance framework for autonomous AI agents across four industry archetypes โ banking, healthcare, retail, and supply chain. The framework identifies eight governance variables: transparency, accountability, bias, data privacy, decision reversibility, stakeholder impact scope, regulatory prescription, and structural governability. Triggered in part by capabilities exposed by Anthropic's Claude Mythos Preview, the framework argues that private-sector governance built today will become templates other industries adopt. Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, a former McKinsey consultant who has advised five US presidents, authored the Fortune op-ed outlining the framework.
