CSAI Foundation announces milestones for securing the agentic AI control plane

The CSAI Foundation, a 501(c)3 launched at RSA Conference 2026, announced its operating framework to secure the AI agentic control plane. The foundation runs six programs including an AI Risk Observatory for agentic AI threat intelligence, identity-first controls and runtime authorization best practices, three TAISE certification tracks, CxO collaboration, and global assurance. It builds on the Cloud Security Alliance's existing portfolio of 30+ research white papers, the AI Controls Matrix, and STAR for AI organizational certification. The framework addresses enterprise risk shifting from models alone to identity, authorization, orchestration, and trust assurance across agent ecosystems.
