EU Forces Google to Share Search Data with Rivals Under DMA

The European Commission adopted binding decisions ordering Alphabet's Google to share anonymized Google Search data with rival search engines under Article 6(11) of the Digital Markets Act. Google Search holds over 90% of the EU market, and the data sharing includes ranking, query, click, and view data from both free and paid results.
