Xi Jinping attends 2026 World AI Conference Global AI Governance

President Xi Jinping attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote address at the 2026 World AI Conference and High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance in Shanghai, outlining four governance principles for international AI cooperation. The speech title was 'Joining Hands to Build a Just and Equitable System For Global AI Governance.' 29 countries signed founding agreement of World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization (WAICO) headquartered in Shanghai.
