FieldAI raising $700M at $10B valuation, quintupling its value in a year
Tags VC · AI / ML · Hardware
Robotics AI startup FieldAI has signed a term sheet to raise $700 million at a $10 billion valuation, up from $2 billion a year earlier, on more than $135 million in revenue and customer contracts. The company raised over $400 million last year, and prior investors include Jeff Bezos' family office, Laurene Powell Jobs' Emerson Collective and Khosla Ventures; the lead investor for the new round was not identified. The term sheet is signed but the deal has not closed, and the valuation approaches Physical Intelligence (about $11B) and Skild AI (over $14B).
Technical significance
A $10B valuation for a robotics-AI company with more than $135 million in revenue and contracts shows investors are pricing 'physical AI' — systems that act in the real world — near the levels of foundation-model robotics peers. The round, if it closes, would make FieldAI one of the most valuable private robotics software firms and could pull more capital toward robot brains rather than hardware. Because the revenue figure combines revenue with contract value rather than recurring software revenue, the multiple may be less comparable to pure-software peers than the headline suggests.
