Google Cloud Next '26: Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform launches with full-stack agent development tools

Google Cloud announced the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform at Cloud Next '26 (April 2026), providing Agent Studio (low-code), Agent Development Kit (ADK) with a graph-based multi-agent workflow framework, Agent Registry for governing internal agents, and Agent Observability with OTel-compliant telemetry. The platform offers access to Gemini 3.1 Pro, Gemini 3.1 Flash Image, Lyria 3, and Anthropic Claude models. Agent Marketplace provides instant deployment of specialized agents from Atlassian, Box, Lovable, Oracle, ServiceNow, and Workday. PayPal uses the platform for payment mandate workflows. Gemini Enterprise saw 40% growth in paid monthly active users quarter-over-quarter in Q1 2026. Cloud Next '26 announced 260 total platform updates.
