Salesforce announced general availability of Agentforce Operations on April 29, 2026, extending its AI agent platform into back-office workflows including procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, vendor onboarding, and contract review. Built on the Regrello acquisition, the platform uses specialized AI agents to autonomously perform work across disconnected systems from email to ERP, claiming up to 70% cycle time reduction and 80% reduction in manual data entry. The product includes over 30 pre-built workflow blueprints for common processes like invoice auditing and employee onboarding, deployable without custom model building. Ecosystem integration features including auto-sync with Salesforce Flows are expected to enter Beta in May 2026. PwC is among the early partners helping clients deploy the platform. The launch represents Salesforce's push to bring agentic AI from front-office CRM into the back-office — the last major enterprise automation holdout.
