Swedish legal AI startup Legora reached a $5.6 billion valuation after a $50 million Series D extension co-led by Nvidia's venture arm NVentures and Accel, with participation from Atlassian, Adams Street Partners, and Barclays. The round brings Legora's total Series D to $600 million. This marks NVentures' first investment in legal tech and represents Nvidia's strategy of backing AI applications across every major industry vertical. Legora grew from 40 to 400 employees in the past year across offices in Stockholm, London, New York, Denver, Sydney, and Bengaluru, and is building what it calls a 'full agentic operating system for legal work.' The company launched a high-profile ad campaign featuring actor Jude Law, intensifying its competitive battle with U.S. rival Harvey, which has raised comparable sums.
