Ukraine deployed a new AI-powered anti-drone turret called Khyzhak (Predator) in active combat on the front line. Developed through the Brave1 defense innovation platform, the system autonomously detects, tracks, and calculates interception trajectories for enemy drones, with the operator only needing to confirm engagement with a single button press. The system can destroy fiber-optic FPV drones that are resistant to electronic warfare jamming, one of the few kinetic countermeasures effective against this threat class. First used by the K-2 Brigade, it is now deployed across more than 10 units on key frontline sectors. The turret was developed from concept to battlefield deployment in a short timeframe through close military-developer collaboration. Ukraine plans to procure 25,000 ground robotic systems in the first half of 2026.
